Monday to Friday - 37 hours per week
Salary up to £40,000 per annum

Job Overview
We are seeking 2 x Order Managers responsible for overseeing the end-to-end order management process to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient workflow through the facility. This role involves coordinating with internal teams (sales, logistics, quality, finance, engineering, production) and external customers to process and fulfil orders accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in managing order workflows, projects or programs.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning of load and capacity, execution, and delivery of production-related projects. They typically work under the guidance of the project managers, helping to coordinate timelines, resources, budgets, and communication across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exemplify a safety-first mindset ensuring the company Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) framework, standard and policies are adhered to.
  • Contributing to the site HSE culture of improving the working environment through maintaining a safe and organised working area (5S).
  • Manage the full order lifecycle, from order receipt to delivery and invoicing with detailed accuracy
  • Monitor order status and proactively address delays, stock issues, or customer concerns
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and customer agreements
  • Analyse order trends and contribute to process improvements related to planning and forecasting
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements to deliver productivity and efficiency.
  • Track project progress and update documentation (e.g. Gantt charts, budgets).
  • In conjunction with the Production Team participate in daily “put to work” meetings, ensuring work is Prioritised in line with business commitments.
  • Monitor supply chain and inventory to avoid bottlenecks
  • Collaborate with sales and finance departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operations
  • Work as part of cross functional team in a fast-paced environment.

Essential

  • Motivated by the prospect of Leading the manufacture of next generation aeroplane engine components.
  • Happy to work in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Comfortable with change and driving a flexible approach to working.
  • Order and/or project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Desirable

  • Experience of Precision Engineering ideally in Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, Oil & Gas or Subcontract machining.
  • Qualifications in a project management-based discipline.
  • Proficient in English language (written and verbal)
  • Experience of working within MRP/ERP System.
  • Aerospace supply chain experience.
  • A passion for the Aerospace industry.
